We Gifted Kate Garraway with a Card!

On 24^th November, The Director of The Blue Sky Social Care Card, Raj Johal, met Kate Garraway at the National Care Awards hosted by Nexus Media Group where Kate was hosting.

Raj gifted Kate with her very own Blue Sky Social Care Card for being an unpaid carer for her husband Derek. Kate was so lovely and truly happy to be talking to everyone.

After being gifted with a Blue Sky Social Care Card, Kate said “oh my god! That’s so lovely, it’s amazing I do need it and will be using it”. Before hosting on stage Kate showed her Blue Sky Social Care Card on stage and went on to say   “I am so proud to be an Blue Sky Social Care Card holder” and stated “I will be keeping the card in my purse”

Earlier in the day, The Blue Sky Social Care Card team met Lorraine Kelly at her panel at the Care Managers Show. She was lovely and very excited about the idea of us giving Kate her own card.
