What is Super Social Care Staff Day?
#SuperSocialCareStaff Day is an annual celebration in March dedicated to recognising the vital contributions of care sector workers across the UK.
For years, care workers had been calling for the recognition they deserve for their essential role in supporting individuals and communities.

This Year’s Theme: Wellbeing at Work
For 2025, we’re excited to highlight wellbeing at work as the core theme of #SuperSocialCareStaff Day. The mental, emotional, and physical wellbeing of care staff is just as important as the support they provide to others.
Throughout the day, we’ll be promoting workplace wellbeing initiatives, encouraging organisations to prioritize mental health support, work-life balance, and overall staff happiness. Care workers give so much of themselves—it’s time to focus on their needs too.
How We’re Celebrating in 2025
This year, we’re excited to highlight a new initiative: the “Donate a Card” scheme. As part of our ongoing mission to support and recognise care workers. Unpaid carers play a vital role in supporting loved ones, often without the same recognition or perks as paid staff.
The Blue Sky Social Care Card provides access to national discounts and perks, making everyday life a bit easier and offering a small token of gratitude for their dedication. We hope this initiative brings some well-deserved support and appreciation to the unsung heroes of the care sector.
